Obama Is Helping the Terrorists to Win

Twelve years ago, on September 11, 2001, the United States of America suffered the worst single attack upon our homeland that had ever been made. I’m sure that all of us remember that day when 19 radical Islamic fanatics murdered three thousand civilians, both Americans and guests in our country, and American military personnel while acting on the dictates of authentic Islam as it is drawn from the Qur’an and the Islamic traditions. (And no, let’s not delude ourselves that what motivated those terrorists was anything other than genuine, traditional, non-sanitized-for-Western-consumption Islam in its purest form.) On that day, many Americans had their eyes opened to some stark realities about the world in which we live, while many others chose to bury their heads in the sand and blame America, blame capitalism, blame freedom for the attacks, instead of blaming the ideology of radical Islam. In the years following the 9-11 attacks, even though we have rebuilt much of what was destroyed that day, the lingering effects of the New Division – between those on the Right who want to oppose the anti-Americanism of radical Islam and those on the Left who embrace it, as well as the radical Muslims as fellow-travelers – have not only remained, but become more pronounced.

This became even more obvious in November of 2008, when America elected a Manchurian candidate who promised to “fundamentally transform” America. In the years since, it has become apparent to anyone with their eyes open that Barack Hussein Obama is diametrically opposed to every ideal, every moral standard, every principle upon which the United States of America was founded and constituted. In essence, he is fundamentally anti-American in every way. He and those like him hate our nation – they hate the Christian basis of our laws and founding documents, they hate our freedom, they hate our prosperity. His promise to “fundamentally transform” America was not idle – he has done and is doing it as we speak. He is turning us into something that is not America, which is what he and the others on the Left intended all along.

It has been often speculated that Obama is a Muslim. I don’t know whether he is or not, but I can tell you certainly that he is NOT a Christian. He does not demonstrate any of the scriptural evidences that accompany repentance and forgiveness of sin through our Lord Jesus Christ. He loves those who hate God. He promotes wickedness and sin. His whole program is one of overturning righteousness and replacing it with perversion and iniquity. He surrounds himself with people who encourage him in his sin and wickedness. His (false) religious supporters are those who similarly hate God and His Word, and even though they put on a veneer of religiosity, what they do and what they support shows the darkness of their own hearts,

“To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” (Isaiah 8:20)

Those who firmly believe that Obama is a secret Muslims can certainly be forgiven for thinking so. His whole mindset and worldview are anti-American, and while acting on that worldview, he has taken actions that are sympathetic to radical Islam and have helped to advance it at the expense of American interests, and those of Christians, the West, liberty, and genuine tolerance.

Whether or not Obama was born in Kenya (I think he was, for the record), he certainly is a foreigner in his passions, his goals, his attitudes toward America, and the rest, and as such he really has no right to our allegiance or obedience, for he does not belong in the office which he illegally holds,

“Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.” (Deuteronomy 17:15)

From top to bottom, Obama has filled his administration with those who have ties with the Muslim Brotherhood: Mohammed Elibiary as Homeland Security Adviser(!); Rashad Hussein as Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic States (OIS); Mohamed Magid, who is a radical Islamic cleric, as Obama’s “Shari’a Czar;” Arif Alikhan as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the Department of Homeland Security, and many others. Each one is in a position to detrimentally affect U.S. policy, especially in areas of security and defense. Each one, rightfully, belongs not in our government, but on a terrorist watch list. Obama has positively acted to staff his court with those who hate our nation and who wish to promote a hostile, foreign, hateful, ungodly, despicable, violent ideology in its place.

Obama has also done everything he can to alter the balance of power in the Middle East away from those who were suppressing radical Islamic terrorist groups and towards those very groups. To that end, he has used American aid and American assets to overthrow (or attempt to) stable governments in Egypt, Libya, Syria, and elsewhere. He stood by and did nothing when Islamofascists in Libya burned our consulate and murdered our ambassador and his guard; meanwhile he has done everything he can to push our nation towards wear on behalf of al-Qaeda in Syria. He only seems to act when the interests of al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, and like-minded fanatics will be advanced.

Simultaneously, Obama has worked to alienate our allies. He has bullied and sought to isolate Israel. He has estranged many of the allies who stood with us in Afghanistan and Iraq, such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and many others. He has unilaterally nullified signed agreements we had with several Eastern European allies for joint missile defense. He has offended nations like Canada, Russia, and the UK with unprovoked gaffes and insults. His buffoonishness has cost America tremendous amounts of goodwill and political capital on the world stage.

Coupled with this is the fact that he has systematically acted to reduce America’s stature in the world. This means that we are no longer the “shining city upon a hill” that many the world over would look to as a beacon of freedom and prosperity. He has made a hash out of pretty much every diplomatic escapade he has attempted. The latest unforced error was his insistence on driving for war in Syria, only to see Russia’s Putin and his puppet Assad come out looking like the reasonable and wise statesmen in the confrontation. If you don’t think this whole resolution involving Syria turning over its chemical weapons to international observers wasn’t a planned made-for-TV show from the beginning, then I please email me when you’re done reading this, because I have some real estate deals you might be interested in. The world over, our allies no longer feel they can trust America to support and protect them. Our friends on the Pacific Rim like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan are surely not incorrect in believing that the weak and feckless Obama would not do anything substantive to help them should Communist China go on the march (well, maybe he would direct John Kerry to launch an “unbelievably small” airstrike against them or something).

Most importantly, Obama’s actions have helped to undermine the genuine war on terrorism (as opposed to the wag-the-dog wars that Obama has been launching all over the globe). This is natural, since the President is on the same side as the terrorists and is opposed to the safety and welfare of the American people. Hence, he fritters away our military strength and undermines the morale of our troops, while funding and aiding the enemies of our nation. Further, he has done everything he could get away with to destroy the freedoms we enjoy in this country, something that radical Muslims would also like to do. The fanatical Islamists hate our freedoms, and Obama is doing everything he can to take those away from us. America is distracted, demoralized, and distressed, our enemies laugh as they prepare their next attacks. Meanwhile, the Obama administration is too busy directing the military and police agencies receiving federal funds (which is about all of them) to consider Christians, patriots, gun owners, constitutionalists, and other liberty lovers as the “real” terrorists. At this point, the only thing protecting us from another Islam-inspired 9-11 level attack is the completely unmerited mercy of the Lord God.

So as we remember the attacks that occurred twelve years ago, each one of us needs to keep in mind that we are not out of the woods. We have a President who is against this nation, who supports the very enemies who attacked us, and who is making it that much more likely that we’re going to see further carnage and destruction in years to come. We have indeed been fundamentally transformed – into something less sane, less safe, and less free.
